Author Guidelines

General

Health Sciences Journal is published bi-annually by MDRI.

Submission of Manuscript

Manuscripts with original material are allowed to be submitted for publication. Neither the manuscript nor any part should be submitted or published anywhere else.

Online Submission

Authors need to register first at the open journal system of the Health Sciences Journal (HSJ). Once registered authors are required to log in and submit anonymous manuscripts. Details of authors must be submitted in a separate file.

Language

HSJ is published in English. All manuscripts must be written in good English.

Format and Writing Style

Use Times New Roman 12 font size with line space 1.5, and put tables, figures, and graphs where stated not at the end of the manuscript.

Title Page of Article

The following information must be provided on the Title page of the Article:

The full title of the manuscript, All Author(s) names, Department, University/Institution, and Email address of the authors.

Abstract

The abstract must be between 250 to 350 words. A minimum of 5 keywords must be provided at the end of the Abstract.

Text of the Manuscript

The text must be in the following Order:

  1. Introduction
  2. Material & Methods
  3. Results
  4. Discussion
  5. Conclusion
  6. Ethical Approval Statement
  7. Conflict of Interest
  8. Authors’ Contribution
  9. Funding Information (If any)

References

For references, the Vancouver style must be followed. All references must be serially numbered and given in digits as superscripts within the text, as in standard medical journals.
